Thanking God Daily Video!

By not thanking God daily, we leave ourselves prey to the negative thinking that takes us away from God's possibility! 

Most people let the negativity in the world dictate how they are feeling or how they respond to a situation.  But as Christians we have a God who is bigger than all that can go wrong in our lives. 

We Should Not Look At The Problem, But Upon God

 

Have you noticed that when things go wrong at the beginning of a day they seem to keep going in that direction?  Sometimes you may even make statements like, "I'm having such a bad day," or maybe, "everything seems to be going against me today!"  

It's natural to speak in this way, but without realizing it you are paving the way for more things to happen to you.  By acting upon your emotions, or what you feel, you are actually embedding the idea in your mind that you are a victim of circumstance and have no means of control.  

However, with God all things are possible, therefore, you can overcome anything in Jesus' name.  So if you are a Christian, then YOU ARE AN OVERCOMER!

Thanking God Daily Video Presentation

My youngest daughter, Emily, has learned over the years to be an overcomer.  As a child she leaned upon my faith for a time, but as she was growing up, she developed her own faith and strength in the Lord. 

I remember explaining to my children when they were young that they needed to develop their own faith in God for what they needed.  I had them pray for lost items or when they were sick.  Sometimes they prayed for others.  But it helped them to see God's love for them and His faithfulness. 

So now as an adult, Emily will ask us to pray with her when she needs something that takes great faith.  But she does the faith work herself, by thanking God daily for working on her behalf and for all that He has done for her already.

She is thankful for all that God does and all the beauty He has given us to enjoy.  Her heart becomes so thankful that in the midst of her own difficulties she looks to the needs of others. She shares God's love for others through the beauty of nature with a bright bouquet of flowers, maybe a special card she made, a smile, or anything she feels will uplift a person from their troubles.  

Because Emily's thankfulness is always so strong I asked her to make a special video for me, titled, "Praising God." 

I would like to add that Emily and her husband have faced some of the financial difficulties so many are facing at this time like pay cuts or reduced hours of work, but every time they have a financial set-back due to the poor economy, she prays in thankfulness and they are somehow blessed with financial gifts, or opportunities.  

So watch her short video and let her inspire you to take control over the problems of your life by thanking God daily and having faith that He will never let you down.
